Around these parts, nothing says summer cookouts better than a freshly sliced watermelon! Of course watermelon is a great treat any time of day. However, this extra refreshing beverage is a nice choice during the hottest parts of the day to restore your electrolytes - keeping you hydrated. 1 small cold watermelon, rind and seeds removed
4 to 6 basil leaves
Juice of ½ of a lime
1. Cut the watermelon into quarters, and then roughly chop each quarter into 2 inch pieces
2. Fill a blender with *cold* watermelon chunks until it’s half way full
3. Add basil and lime juice to the blender
4. Cover and pulse on low until the ingredients are mostly incorporated. Once incorporated, blend on high for 10 to 15 seconds.
5. Serve immediately
