Pineapple Hibiscus Smoothie Recipe



This super tangy, sweet, flowery smoothie is packed with nutrients your hair can't wait to get a taste of!


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of dried Hibiscus flowers or 2 sachets of Hibiscus tea

  • 1/4 tsp of ginger root

  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries

  • 1 cup of frozen pineapples

  • 5 fresh Mint leaves

  • 1/4 cup of Greek Yogurt


Directions:

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

  2. Place dried flowers in a pitcher. Wash & cut ginger into small cubes. Add ginger cubes into the pitcher.

  3. Pour 2 cups of water into the pitcher. Steep the hibiscus and ginger for 15 minutes. Add sweetener if preferred.

  4. Drain tea and cool. Once cooled, add 1 cup of tea to a blender.

  5. Add the rest of the ingredients to the blender pitcher.

  6. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
